Your support of our Intercollegiate Athletics program directly affects our student-athletes, helping to expand and strengthen athletics at Mason. We seek to partner with alumni, parents, friends, corporations, and foundations to recruit top-notch students and coaches, as well as build and maintain the finest sports facilities.
The Patriot Club is the fundraising arm of Mason athletics. As donors to the Patriot Club, individuals and businesses help George Mason create champions. And not just champions in the playing arena, but champions in the classroom and even for life.
The donations the Patriot Club receives through an annual membership drive, special events, and targeted fundraising efforts benefit our Student-Athlete Scholarship Fund and other related needs, such as capital projects. The club also works to enhance our visibility, engaging individuals and businesses in our Division I athletic programs. In 2006, the Patriot Club initiated the Green Coat Society to recognize donors who contribute to Mason athletics at a minimum of $5,000 annually and make a three-year commitment at this level for a total contribution of at least $15,000. Members receive distinctive Mason jackets, priority ticket and seating options, special recognition, and more
